Our goal is to foster harmonious relationships among community members, preserve our heritage and culture, promote social well-being and solidarity, and ultimately cultivate peace, prosperity, and happiness.

HISTORY OF JALALABAD ASSOCIATION OF AMERICA INC
The Jalalabad Association of America Inc. is a longstanding social
welfare organization in the United States. Founded in 1991 by prominent figures from the greater Sylhet region, also known as the Jalalabad region, this esteemed association has deep roots in the community. The name “Jalalabad” pays homage to the revered Sufi Muslim saint, Hazrat Shah Jalal (R), who hailed from Yemen and played a significant role in spreading the teachings of Islam in the region. His influence continues to resonate with the people of this area, inspiring the mission and values of the Jalalabad Association of America Inc. EVENTS
The Jalalabad Association of America Inc, USA hosts a variety of events
for its members, including an annual iftar party during Ramadan,
receptions, discussions, and cultural programs. We strive to provide our
members with support and cooperation in various areas such as
education, social development, leadership development, community
services, advocacy, and more. Additionally, we offer scholarships to
deserving students in need of financial assistance to further their
education.
